Basil "Bucky" Nastri

Basil “Bucky” Nastri was a friend, father, and husband. He was described as the “Perfect Sunset,” and friends remember him as the friend everyone yearns to find in life; loyal to no end and willing to drop everything to lend a helping hand. Bucky was a cowboy through and through. He had a moral compass that helped dictate his moves and decisions. In his free time, he enjoyed riding, roping calves, and team roping… but his most treasured time was watching his son play on the baseball diamond for so many years. He would forgo any roping to enjoy seeing his son thrive in his passion.

Bucky was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer just before Christmas 2024. His fight was short, but the legacy and memories he left behind are unmatched. Bucky never complained about the cards he was dealt and was just thankful for the days he was given. He was loved by all who were lucky to know him, and the impact he left will be felt for years to come.
