Phoenixjade is the embodiment of a true go-getter. She has never waited for an opportunity to knock—she always forged her own trail and dared the world to keep up. With a fiery spirit and an unshakeable work ethic, she has built her life as both a dedicated insurance adjuster and a respected reining trainer within the NRHA.

For someone who had never known how to slow down, 2024 brought an unexpected reckoning. Persistent fatigue and a growing sense that something wasn’t right finally forced her to pause. After months of extensive testing and appointments with specialists, she received a life-altering diagnosis in 2025: Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL).

Phoenixjade had always been the caretaker—the one others leaned on—not the one who needed support herself. That shift alone carries its own weight. Alongside the diagnosis come recurring respiratory infections that refuse to loosen their grip, and everyday tasks that were once second nature now demand far more energy than before. CLL has reshaped her life in ways she never anticipated, forcing difficult adjustments, including downsizing to manage rising medical expenses and redefining what “normal” looks like day to day.

She is learning a new rhythm to life - a dance far different from the one she has always known - and the steps have not come easily. Yet her fierce, strong-willed spirit refuses to surrender. She continues to stand firm in the storm, adapting to uncertain footing with courage, grit, and grace.

CLL will not define Phoenixjade. She is more than her diagnosis - more than the challenges she faces - and she will make it through.
