“Family is the life jacket in the stormy sea of life.” – J.K. Rowling

Naomi Hoppel has always been devoted to health and wellness, guided by a lifelong passion for yoga and fitness. When she met and married Adam Hoppel, she could not have foreseen how profoundly horses would shape her journey. What began as occasional help on the family farm soon grew into a larger role with the Hoppel Rodeo, held each Fourth of July—a natural extension of her fitness and enthusiasm.

With the arrival of her sons, Oren and Rowan, Naomi embraced the rewarding world of parenthood and youth rodeo. She entered this chapter with grace, openness, and a willingness to learn, navigating both the joys and challenges of equine life with resilience and heart.

In September 2023, Naomi received a devastating diagnosis: Stage IV Triple Positive Breast Cancer. By every measure, she had lived with intention - active, mindful, and health-conscious. Yet rather than dwelling on the diagnosis, Naomi, fortified by her family, has chosen to focus on maintaining a sense of normalcy for her boys while courageously confronting this challenge. Though some days bring greater pain, especially as it settles into her spine, she continues to seek joy in her family, to spend time outdoors when possible, and to engage in the practices that bring her comfort and strength.

Naomi is here. She is fighting. And she is surrounded by an unwavering army of loved ones who lift her up, reminding us all that family is indeed the life jacket in life’s stormy seas.
